What's it all about? In its 17th year, Snowbombing is a week's whirlwind of international DJs and bands. What's it all about? A four-day festival on three different stages celebrating of some of the finest electronic music on this planet. What's it all about? The vast North American ski area hosts 10 days of everything from top athletes pushing the limits and free outdoor concerts to fashion, photography, film and après. The world's best snowboarders will compete in Monster Boarderstyle (April 15 and 16) and slopestyle events, while their two-planked counterparts will take part in the IFSA North American Freeride Championships from Aril 8 to 9. During the day revellers can wander into the free State of the Art exhibition and in the evenings there's a variety of events, including a roller derby, silent disco, and professional filmmaker and photographer showdowns.

Top of the Mountain Concert

What’s it all about? The Top Of The Mountain season closing concerts typically attract crowds of up to 20,000 and this year rock giants Muse are to perform. Catch them at the open-air lunchtime concert on Ischgl’s mountain-top stage at 2,300m on the penultimate day of the Tirolean resort’s five-month long ski season. Expect an energetic performance against a dramatic Alpine backdrop with hits including Survival, Starlight and Psycho plus others from the award-winning album Drones. Muse will join Ischgl’s impressive hall of fame, including Robbie Williams, Elton John, James Blunt, Rihanna and The Beach Boys, who opened this season at the end of November 2015.

Spring Break

What's it all about? Fairly new to the festival scene, Spring Break brings together riders from all over the world to the heart of the Austrian Alps for a week of après, rail jams and gear testing. The event offers the best of the late-season snow on the Kaunertal Glacier, with snowboarding fanatics able to test as many boards, boots and bindings as they like. The event is in its fourth year after emerging out of The Snowboard Test, the annual industry get-together that has been going for more than 20 years and has been open to the public ever since. Highlights of the week include the White Lines Rail Jam and Monster Energy party.
